Creative Concepts is Thankful!
On the day before Thanksgiving, we decided to take a break from writing about PR, Social Media, SEO, Marketing, Events, and clients and thought we would share a Facebook question that was shot out to our team: quite simply “What Are You Grateful For?” Now this isn’t a new question….it’s not innovative or even unique messaging, but it is heartwarming to hear from those you work with daily how much they value their families and friends and how much they appreciate the work they do for Creative Concepts (or work they do in conjunction with Creative Concepts). Take a look and let us know what you are grateful for!
“I am thankful for my health, for hugs and for the unconditional love of my family. I am also so thankful for a positive work environment, an understanding boss and the opportunity to write and edit while still being a full-time mom. Happy Thanksgiving!” Deb Owens, Editorial Manager
“I am so very thankful for my amazing family and friends, and my wonderful cozy home. I’m grateful to be able to work with some fantastically talented people at Creative Concepts in such a progressive work environment. I’m also consistently thankful for the little things in life that remind me just how lucky I am.” Roni Widmer Business Services Manager and Social Media Writer
“I am grateful for my busy, happy (mostly!), healthy family. I also cherish friends, both new and old, who remind me that it’s the people in your life who make you rich, not the things you have. And it is indeed a great privilege to learn every day doing work I love with fantastic colleagues at Creative Concepts. Oh, and chocolate … I’m very thankful for THAT!” Maureen McLellan, Relationship Manager
“I’m grateful to have such an incredibly supportive and loving family. I don’t know where I would be without them! I’m grateful to have friendships that I love and cherish.
“I’m thankful I go to school somewhere I am happy and that continuously challenges me. I’m also grateful to be able to work at Creative Concepts–everyone is so incredibly intelligent and nice that it is always, always a pleasure interacting with you. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!” Jerelyn Luther, Social Media Writer and Business Services Coordinator
“I am thankful for Creative Concepts for giving me the opportunity to work and connect with other talented people. I am thankful for my family and look forward to seeing them in the Carolinas this weekend!” Jenni Hilton, Public Relations Manager
“I am thankful to Creative Concepts for introducing me to great companies and giving me the opportunity to use my creativity in developing awareness building plans for them. I am also thankful this Thanksgiving for my family and friends and being able to have them all over… and not have to drive anywhere in traffic myself!” Sylvia O’Hagan, Public Relations Manager
“I am thankful for the opportunity to teach children – to help those who are most needy and to make a difference in their lives and in our community. And our world. To use my drive, best instincts and talents to drive artistic talent and critical thinking in young minds – teaching methods and procedures that can help drive happiness and success in all areas of education and life.” David Borzo, Social Media Writer
“I’m grateful for my friends and family and that I’m employed.” Ben Gwin, Technical Administrator
“It sounds cliche, but I really am thankful for my health. I’m also thankful to work with such a wonderful team of people who really do a great job of working together… we probably get more done than those working in a physical location together! Katie Skow, Social Media Manager
“I’m always thankful for good health and good friends and family. It’s pretty basic, but those two can make a world of difference when you have other life obstacles to conquer.” Ann Karrick, Social Media Manager
“I’m thankful for a lot, but something I’m most thankful for is a second chance in life. Even though it has been 5 years since I was in a horrible car accident that resulted in the death of both of my parents, I’m thankful for each day I’m given. I am very thankful that I have some very close friends that have become my extended family. In the past 5 years I don’t know what I would have done without them.” Melissa, Facebook, Blog and Web Developer
“Being thankful is not something on the tip of your tongue around this time of the year when you live in the Netherlands. People here don’t celebrate Thanksgiving as a holiday. To be honest I would love to promote a ‘constant state of thankfulness’ so that when life knocks you down, you can always drink from your well filled with thankful feelings and all the good stuff that help to keep you upright. There’s always something to be thankful for even if there are many upsetting things going on in your life. The bigger things like, children, love, family, health – the returning things like nature, work, another sunny morning, waves, butterflies – the silly things like your colleagues jokes that crack you up, that awesome YouTube video, that funny remark on Facebook….and much more. For me it’s all of the above and much more and for that I say thanks!” Nicoline Maes, Director Business Development-Netherlands
“I am thankful for my supportive family and friends, especially for helping me through my life/career transitions. For Creative Concepts, for bringing me on board their team this year and their encouragement with my work. For my love of reading and writing. For being able to travel.” Michele Herrmann, Social Media Writer
And finally I am 100% grateful for the Creative Concepts team, their talents and their willingness to learn and try new things with enthusiasm. I am grateful for our clients who are fantastic people and run amazing companies. I am grateful for my beautiful family and the uniqueness that each one of them brings to this world and I am grateful for my house which is still standing strong after Irene and Sandy. And finally I am grateful for a hopeful future that holds all sorts of possibilities that are built around the Creative Concepts business and team. Happy Thanksgiving to all! Valorie Luther, Founder
