Bigelow Tea Celebrates Hispanics Who Enrich Our Nation

Bigelow Tea is once again excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We’re raising a cup of tea as we join many others throughout the United States to pay tribute to the generations of Hispanic Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our nation and society.

So, grab your Pomegranate Margarita and join us in honoring these wonderful men and women. Here are profiles of two of the many famous and notable Hispanics who’ve made contributions to society here in the U.S.

Gloria Estefan

“Get on your feet, get up and make it happen!” This Cuban songstress is a Cuban-born American singer and songwriter otherwise known as the “Queen of Latin Pop.” With multiple Grammy Awards under her belt, Estefan also has several entrepreneurial ventures including hotels and restaurants. Look for her soon on The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep opposite Joe Jonas and Nelly.

Roberto Clemente

Born in Puerto Rico, Roberto Clemente worked hard for money and played baseball in his spare time. Recruited to play on a local team, Clemente was eventually given the opportunity to try out for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was an All-Star both on and off the field with his charity work. Sadly, Clemente lost his life helping others.

At Bigelow Tea we celebrate Hispanic Heritage all year long with our bilingual packaging on many products. Our Hispanic customers can make Té Verde a part of their celebration! Speaking of which, we have tea recipes fit for a fiesta, so be sure to browse our website to find a dish to pair perfectly with your favorite tea!
