WHO WE ARE
The Creative Concepts Grant Development team has been writing grant proposals since 1993. Located in Fairfield, Connecticut, and primarily serving New York and Connecticut, we are experienced in non-profit, foundation, municipal, state and federal grant writing disciplines. We are also skilled in capital campaign project and business plan development.
For twenty-five years, we have managed a wide variety of strategy issues for startup, acquisition and development stage companies in numerous industries, with a special emphasis on healthcare, community and economic development.
We played a vital role in the development of Healthworks, the first facility on Long Island to provide cardiac diagnostic, cardiac rehabilitation and sports medicine services in a non-hospital setting, where in addition to writing the business plan, we were responsible for obtaining the project financing commitments as well as managing execution of the company’s development strategy which included identifying physician partners and negotiating joint venture projects with area hospitals.
For nearly a decade, we authored grant proposals for one of New York City’s largest non-profit organizations for disabled adults successfully obtaining funding to develop community-based programs that increased the organizations regional expanse by more than fifty miles into previously underserved areas on Long Island.
Today, we continue to aggressively support non-profit organizations, developing grant proposals, constructive growth plans and service solutions for those with diverse needs who have a vision and a purpose and are working to solve challenges. One of our most recent proposals earned a $192,000 State Historic Preservation Grant Award to replace the roof on one of the most historic churches in New England.
HOW DO WE BEGIN
Utilizing our knowledge and skill for information retrieval, we conduct comprehensive searches for funding sources that match an immediate need, and then follow best-practice guidelines to complete all necessary components of the application from the opening narrative to the budget justification. From outset to finished product, we conceptualize and weigh specific goals, then craft compelling needs statements that give a voice and a vision to the application that will catch the attention of grant reviewers and decision-makers.
There are many moving parts in successful grant awards, so, if you are considering the grant writing process as a potential source of funding for your organization, are, or have been considering approaching grant awarding organizations with your issues, opportunities and needs, or if you have started the process and feel you could use assistance with a proposal, we can help.
